Why we recommend it

What it does for you

For mid-size installs that already have coax wiring: this Epcom DVR records 16 TurboHD, AHD, CVI or analog cameras at 1080p Lite and takes 2 extra IP cameras over the network. It is the budget way to replace an old 16-channel recorder without changing the cameras.

With AcuSense Lite, notifications arrive only for people and vehicles. Audio travels over the coax and is two-way, and H.265+ compression shrinks the space recordings take. It has a Full HD output and one bay for a hard drive of up to 6 TB, sold separately.

Ideal for

  • Homes with coax-wired cameras
  • Businesses replacing their recorder
  • TurboHD, AHD or analog installs
  • A mix of coax and IP cameras
  • 16 + 2Coax cameras + IP cameras
  • 1080pResolution per channel (Lite)
  • 6 TBMaximum drive (not included)
  • H.265+More recording days per drive

What you need to make it work

The recorder ships without a hard drive: it needs a surveillance drive to store video. This is what we recommend to complete the installation.
