Why we recommend it

What it does

Siamese cable is what coaxial cameras use: it carries video and power together in a single cable, so you run just one line per camera. This Viakon reel holds 305 m of RG59 siamese cable: the coax center is solid copper, while the braid and the 20 AWG power pair are CCA (copper-clad aluminum). It is optimized for HD video and outdoor rated, for runs that go outside.

It is the choice for installations with several coaxial cameras, where cutting each run to size is more practical than buying pre-made cables. You cut the exact length for each camera and fit the video and power connectors on the ends. It is a cable made in Mexico.
