Why we recommend it

What it does for you

The most affordable DVR for 8 coax cameras. It accepts TurboHD, AHD, CVI and analog cameras, and adds 2 IP cameras over the network if you want to grow without rewiring. It records at 1080p Lite, the resolution of most existing home and business installs.

AcuSense Lite filters alerts so it notifies you about people and vehicles, not any motion. It has two-way audio on every channel and H.265+ compression, which stretches the drive further. It holds one hard drive of up to 4 TB, sold separately.

Ideal for

  • Homes with coax-wired cameras
  • Businesses replacing their recorder
  • TurboHD, AHD or analog installs
  • A mix of coax and IP cameras
  • 8 + 2Coax cameras + IP cameras
  • 1080pResolution per channel (Lite)
  • 4 TBMaximum drive (not included)
  • H.265+More recording days per drive

What you need to make it work

The recorder ships without a hard drive: it needs a surveillance drive to store video. This is what we recommend to complete the installation.
