Built to withstand salt air

A junction box for the DS-2DT5432MWG-T(PA) anti-corrosion PTZ camera, for which Hikvision lists it as an optional accessory. The network cable splices, the power and the connectors stay inside, protected from salt air and rain instead of exposed. It is made of PA66 plastic with 15 % glass fiber, the same kind of anti-corrosion polymer as the camera line.

It measures 260 × 237 × 90 mm, weighs about 2.5 kg and has three cable entries with glands at the bottom. It fastens to the wall with four 9.5 mm holes. It is the part that makes a coastal installation last: the camera withstands salt air, but loose connectors do not.
