Why we recommend it
Built to withstand salt air
This junction box is the companion piece for mounting a camera on the coast: the network and power connectors sit inside a closed box instead of hanging outdoors, where salt air and rain damage them. It is made of anti-corrosion polymer, the same kind of material as the cameras designed for salty environments.
It is made for Hikvision anti-corrosion polymer cameras; check with us that it fits your model. It is IP66, measures 164.8 × 137 × 53.4 mm and has a 3/4" conduit outlet. If you are installing an anti-corrosion camera, this box keeps the connectors from being the weak point: a clean installation, with no exposed cables and protected from the weather. It is a simple accessory, but it makes a difference in how long a seaside installation lasts.
