What it does
It is a ground loop isolator for cameras on coaxial cable. When the camera and the recorder are plugged into outlets with different grounds, the picture fills with bars or interference; this isolator goes between the cable and the recorder and removes that noise so the video looks clean.
It works with HD-TVI, HD-CVI and AHD cameras up to 2 MP, the high-definition cameras that connect over BNC. If your system uses IP cameras you do not need it. It is useful in buildings or warehouses where cameras sit far from the recorder and each area has its own electrical wiring.
