What it does at home

The ZKTeco ML100 is a lever-handle lock with a European 5050 mortise that opens with your fingerprint, a code, an IC card, the mechanical key or from your phone. It connects to your Wi-Fi and, with the ZSmart app, you can unlock remotely, share temporary passcodes, check the unlock log and manage users. Its capacitive fingerprint reader verifies quickly even with dry or rough fingers.

It stores up to 300 users: 100 fingerprints, 100 passcodes and 100 cards. It adds random digits to your code so nobody can learn it by watching, and guides you with voice prompts in Spanish and English. It uses 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included) that last up to a year; if they run out, it takes emergency power over micro-USB. It fits doors 35 to 60 mm thick and works from -25 °C to 55 °C.
