What it does

This switch gives network and power to up to 16 IP cameras or other PoE devices over a single cable each. It delivers up to 230 W in total and up to 30 W per port, enough for cameras that use the 802.3at standard. In long-range mode the ports reach up to 300 m, although real distance depends on the camera and the cable. Two Gigabit combo ports connect it to the recorder or the network, over copper or fiber.

It is a managed switch: it supports VLANs, port isolation, loop prevention and cable diagnostics. Its PoE watchdog detects cameras that stop responding and restarts them on its own. It can be managed over the web or in the cloud with Hik-Partner Pro, which shows PoE usage and alarms. It has a metal case, mounts in a rack with the included ears, plugs straight into mains power and is protected against 6 kV surges.
