PoE+ extender with 2 outputs

Why we recommend it

What it does

A PoE extender sits partway between the switch and the camera so that network and power reach further. It takes in a single PoE network cable and gives you 2 PoE+ outputs sharing 30 W in total, so from that point you can power 2 low-power IP cameras the switch cable could not reach on its own.

You need it when a camera ends up too far from the switch or the recorder and you do not want to add another switch or find an outlet out there. It is Gigabit, so it does not slow the video down. It is made for indoor use: place it in a junction box, a ceiling space or a protected cabinet, never out in the weather.

Ideal for

• IP cameras far from the switch
• Long buildings and halls
• Perimeter cameras
• Indoor installation
