What it does for you
This Hikvision bullet camera records in color around the clock, including at night, thanks to its ColorVu 3.0 technology. After dark it can light the scene two ways: 30 meters of infrared to watch discreetly, or 30 meters of white light that brightens the area. Its 4 MP resolution shows faces and plates at close range (identification up to about 6 m with the 2.8 mm lens).
It is built for outdoors: its IP67 rating shields it from rain and dust. A built-in microphone lets you hear what is going on, not just see it. It connects over PoE, meaning one network cable carries both power and video, and it has a microSD slot if you want recordings stored right on the camera. The 2.8 mm lens gives a wide view for fronts, yards and driveways.
