What it does

It is a mounting set for PTZ cameras, the ones that pan and zoom. It is a vertical pole mount with a built-in junction box where the cables are kept. It fits poles 10 to 20 cm in diameter and supports up to 10 kg. A PTZ weighs more than a fixed camera and needs a bracket designed for it, not a generic one.

It is meant to fix the PTZ to a pole; the junction box holds the cables and even the 24 V power adapter. It is the usual piece for parking lots, industrial yards and perimeters where the PTZ sits up high on a pole covering a large area. The camera is sold separately; make sure it is a PTZ dome.
