Why we recommend it

What it does at home

The EZVIZ CB2 is a palm-sized, wire-free camera made for indoors: it runs on its 2000 mAh rechargeable battery, which lasts up to 50 days per charge in EZVIZ tests with 5 minutes of use a day. It sits on its magnetic base, which also sticks to any metal surface, so there is no drilling. It connects to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

It records in Full HD 1080p and at night sees in black and white with infrared up to 5 m. Its PIR sensor and human-shape detection work together to alert you when a person appears, and two-way audio lets you talk from your phone. It stores to a microSD card up to 512 GB (bought separately) or EZVIZ cloud with a subscription. It works with Alexa and Google Assistant.

Build your system

What you need to make it work

The camera alone doesn't record: it needs somewhere to store video and, depending on the installation, power, network and protection. This is what we recommend so it works from day one.
